In today’s shooting that took place in front of the Novi Pazar Police Administration, in addition to the wounded MK, a casual passerby MM, 32, from Novi Pazar, also received a life-threatening wound.
MK was transported to Novi Pazar General Hospital in a civilian vehicle, and Novi Pazar Police Administration officer Ivan Milojević was the first to come to the aid of the seriously injured MM.
He provided first aid to the injured and tried to stop the bleeding until the ambulance reached the scene.
According to eyewitnesses at the scene, Milojević ran out of the Police Administration premises and rendered first aid to the injured MM.
“This brave policeman tried to stop the bleeding with his hands and kept the woman awake, and the Emergency Service arrived within minutes,” a witness told us.
Thanks to the efforts of the surgeon at the General Hospital of Novi Pazar and this brave policeman, the woman’s life was saved.
By the way, Milojevic has been praised and awarded several times by the Novi Pazar City Council, the Minister of the Interior and the Police Unions.
In 2016, off duty and unarmed, he defeated two hopefuls in downtown Novi Pazar with a quick and courageous reaction. At that moment, in front of the cafe, some fifty meters from him, a shooting took place in which HU drew a pistol and began to shoot at J.Š., although there were several thousand people nearby. On that occasion, Milojevic received a plaque for various heroic deeds of the Police Union.
Milojevic has been awarded multiple times so far for his extraordinary results and bravery. She received the Novi Pazar Plaque for the first time in 2009 for the results obtained in the fight against crime by the patrol of her police intervention unit, and two years later she was awarded by the Minister.
