I refuse to be cannon fodder for the ruling party since the criterion of loyalty to the fatherland is sarma, wrote writer and journalist Bojan Bosiljčić, editor of the foreign culture program RTS, in the author’s text for Danas.

I refuse to be the cannon fodder of the ruling party that will dull my mind with its childish marketing notion of the world and convince me of the post-Putin truth of colorful lies that should confuse my brain and distract me from the miserable reality creeping into our faces under that veneer. Serbia is a supposed Balkan tiger, although in the collective mirror all normal people see a reflection that every day looks more like a church mouse, Bosiljčić said.

He stated, among other things, that he refuses to accept a media concept in which the ruling party multiplies its televisions, tabloids and radio stations at the expense of the people and through occupied public companies, and offers a public service offer, Radio Televisión de Serbia cannot be rejected in the form of a mandatory budgetary leverage that obliges, it is known what, so that, thus emasculated, the public service and all its remaining spectators are condemned to agitate the celebration of the government and its president, and not to ennoble objective and critically to inform the people.

I refuse to live in the mental environment of the crowd of fans and to submit to their values of civilization and culture, because, I admit, it is quite difficult for me to answer such a childish question “So what?” In such a complicated world, Bosiljčić wrote for “Today”.

“I refuse to accept that ethical concept according to which the ministers who falsified diplomas and doctorates and accumulated real estate acquired synchronously with the falsification teach me about honesty and the obligation to pay taxes,” he said.

I reject an attack on common sense in the form of the claim that any scam raised by the ruling ensemble automatically turns into “the most beautiful park in Europe”, a settlement of generic architecture stacked in the historic center of the capital “without a doubt a new symbol of Belgrade “, each next budget” the biggest budget in Belgrade History “etc, etc, etc … because history should be a teacher of life and not a stick for the ignorant and hostile to knowledge”, he stated Bosiljčić.

I refuse to participate in the circus of self-love that offers the public the contents of the plate, asking for support for the project of filling my plate with extraordinary green beans while our plates are slowly being emptied.

I refuse to be treated mentally instead of pharmacologically by the virus, that the supreme director of our lives hallucinogenicly repeats the mantra that “surrender is not an option” and that this banal warrior-fan rhetoric covers, through the bodies of my dead and sick fellow citizens, the fact that the country’s health system the marzipan hospital, which, after the patriotic plate of green beans and the patriotic plate of sarma, will be crushed by a very satisfied president, Bosiljčić said.

He also said that he refuses to live the proclaimed Golden Age, because that gold smells like the rest of the toilets of the African rulers who also poured from their bathrooms a picture of splendor and luxury that, alas, was not reserved for the people and the children of the collective – because what would they do with golden toilets? That for the ruler and the children of the elect.

I refuse to accept the fact that Serbia has become a country of emigrated souls floating in the limbo of the distant world, driven from these shores by the callousness of those who only care about their political well-being, without caring for anyone in the world. overseas distances that cry for a homeland where he remained whole. the world famous, much bigger than a pot of sarma or green beans, Bosiljčić said.

I reject with indignation, he affirmed, the omnipresent colorful lie of too high masts, monuments, chimeras of the city on the water and on the river beds and undulating gondolas that destroy the urban fabric and the rivers of our cities by the erection of illusions failures of the ruling caste about its importance and size. Urban and other decisions when caching the shadow of the medieval rulers of Serbia think it is possible to take a bit of their glory and power.

I refuse to accept the self-projected autocratic presidential authority that builds, heals, investigates, publishes, judges, accuses, interprets, explains … and we are the only ones who deal with politics while the rest of us have to be silent, Bosiljčić wrote.

Although George Bernard Shaw established long ago that a man gains more and more respect for his surroundings as the number of things he feels ashamed of increases, it is no longer healthy to endure so much shame, Bosiljcic wrote, adding that he prefers to choose a virus in that plague.

I refuse to live in a country where I am so ashamed. Although the autocrat and his team are diligently trying to cleanse Serbia of dissidents, I will not leave, I will not kill myself, Bosiljčić noted.

My choice of options is reduced, of course. But he still has it, he stressed.
