Srba Ž. (20) from the village of Gornja Vrežina near Niš, died last night in a horrible car accident when a BMW driven by his friend SB (27) crashed into the “Niš auta” building in that village.
According to eyewitnesses, the car was going at high speed and around 3.30am it flew out of the roundabout and first hit the flowerpot it was carrying for about 20 meters, and then it crashed into the building.
Immediately after the violent blow, the driver of SB (27) got out of the vehicle and tried to remove his passenger from the passenger seat, who was unconscious at the time.
Eyewitnesses, including a worker from “Niš auta”, came to his aid and together they called an ambulance, but it was too late for the 20-year-old Serb …
– I got to the car, the boy who was driving came out and the passenger was obviously dead. I wanted to get it out but couldn’t, the car was pretty wrinkled. We called an ambulance and waited, witness Slavić Savić told “Blic”.
The deputy superior prosecutor who carried out the investigation ordered the taking of blood samples, the technical inspection of the vehicle and the autopsy.
