President Vučić said that Serbia and Russia have strong friendly relations, which are shown in various challenges, even now, during the kovida-19 pandemic, it is stated in the announcement of the President of the Republic’s Media Cooperation Service.
That is why, it is said, he asked Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko to convey his gratitude to President Putin for the deliveries of the “Sputnik V” vaccine, because, he says, they helped Serbia lead the way in vaccination and provide the population with reliable protection against coronavirus.
In this regard, President Vučić and Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko discussed the possibility that Serbia, with the help of Russian experts and on the basis of Russian technology, independently produce vaccines.
President Vučić and Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko, on the eve of the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and co-chair of the Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, Yuri Borisov, declared that the realization of a joint infrastructure and energy projects are well implemented.
The construction of the section of the railway from Stara Pazova to Novi Sad, which we are building with the Russian RZD, is progressing according to planned dynamics, and the completion of the works is expected later this year, according to the promised President Vučić, says the notice.
At the same time, they discussed concrete proposals for future cooperation.
President Vučić and Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko also discussed the regional situation.
