Belivuk was arrested yesterday at four in the morning in a large police action. More than 10 of his associates were also arrested.

KRIK found out the names of some of them. Marko Miljković, Belivuk’s right-hand man, Boris Karapandžić, Milovan Tadić, Srdjan Lalić, the brothers Miloš and Marko Budimir, Nemanja Đurić and Filip Ivanovski were arrested.

A criminal association and two murders are suspected, according to a police document KRIK had access to. According to the police, the group killed Zdravko Radojevic and Milan Ljepoja.

Little is known about Radojevic, and the United Arab Emirates issued an interpol warrant against Ljepoja, because he participated in the robbery in Dubai.

He was arrested in 2008 in France, and the local media pointed to him as a member of the international group “Pink Panther”.

Political ties

Belivuk, as well as several other detainees, had connections in the police and politics, about which KRIK previously wrote.

The leader of the crowd was close to Nenad Vuckovic Vucko, one of the key people in the National Gendarmerie. Several of their joint photos, showing them cheering in the stadium, were previously published in the media.

Through Vuckovic, Belivuk got in touch with Diana Hrkalovic, who was the second man in the police force: the secretary of state at the Home Office.

Karapandzic, a member of Belivuk’s group who was also arrested yesterday, was photographed cheering for Danilo Vucic, the son of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, in Russia at the 2018 World Cup.

Several other associates, whose arrest is not yet known, also had strong ties.

Fan Aleksandar Vidojevic, also known as Aca Roshavi, who was previously near Belivuk and was also listed in the police as a member of the Kavac clan, was seen several times in the company of the president’s son. Vidojevic and Karapandzic have been prosecuted since 2018 for participating in the demolition of the “Komitet” nightclub.

Borko Aranitović, who worked for the fan leaders as security at Belgrade nightclubs, was hired to secure the inauguration of President Vučić. He also took photos with the gendarme Vuckovic.

Branch of the Kavač clan

According to police data, Belivuk’s fan group was a Serbian branch of the Montenegrin Kavac clan, which has been in conflict with a rival con group for several years, KRIK reported. This clandestine war claimed about 50 lives.

The group of fans was first called “Janissaries” and was led by Aleksandar Stanković, known as Sale Mutavi, who was assassinated in October 2016. According to data from the Serbian intelligence agency BIA, he was killed by a rival scalping clan, But this murder was never officially solved.

After Stankovic’s death, Belivuk took the lead over the group of fans. Later, the group happened to be called “Principles”.

Belivuk distanced himself from certain associates, such as Aleksandar Vidojevic and the gendarme Vuckovic.

Some have switched sides. One of them is Rade Petrović, who left Kavčane and joined the rival group. A video was posted on the internet, showing that Belivuk is forcing the scared Petrović to say in the cafe that “‘Principles’ is the right story”, and to his team that they are “cowards”.
