– Veljko Belivuk, based on a plea deal for the attack on the security of Miloš Vazura, was sentenced to one year of house arrest without electronic surveillance. On the same day that he was acquitted of complicity in the murder of Vlastimir Milosevic in May 2018, his arrest was lifted, but he was transferred to an apartment in Zvezdara, where he was serving a house sentence – Kurir’s interlocutor recalls and adds that Belivuk was released before house arrest, having served two-thirds of his sentence.
Like every convict who is serving his sentence at home, he explains, he has been assigned a supervisor whose task is to check if the convict respects the legal obligation not to leave the apartment without prior consent. The recently detained Suzana V., he claims, was in charge of supervising Belivuk, visiting him and checking if he respected the sentence.
– There is information that indicates that not only Belivuk left the apartment but also the country. Apparently, in the period when he was supposed to serve his prison sentence, he was with his family at the famous swimming pools of Szeged, according to a source from Kurir.
