Sometimes seven patients are transported to another city at once, the wait can be several hours, reports his RTS story.
There are Trijan Clinic Infectious Diseases and Beani Hair centers. Patients are referred where there is space.
Initially they were Arena, Infectious Diseases Clinic, Institute of Rheumatology, and in the previous ten, Panevo, Smederevo, Mladenovac, Ni, Nika Banja, Sokobanja and Vrnjak Spa.
When patients are on oxygen, they add in the ER, all medical equipment must go. It is always seen that it is not just one patient, but two or three, and when they are with an easy clinic, there are seven.
In such situations, patients wait several hours. There is no other way, because, for example, it takes up to seven hours to transport to Vrnjaka Banja and back.
“It is about transport, they are easy patients who do not have major problems, but who simply need transport, because everything is fine with the analysis, but the x-ray shows something else, so that there is no bleeding,” says Dr. Sergej Panti deputy director of the Institute. for emergency medical care.
However, some patients choose to have a family member drive them. The ambulance says they will carry out about 30 transports in 24 hours in Belgrade, and up to 120 to hospitals in other cities, depending on the day.
They have enough equipment. However, there are patients among the employees: 30 doctors, 20 drivers and more than 30 medical technicians.
