He noted that this was great news and a confirmation of the responsible economic policy of the Government of Serbia.

After the latest data from the Office of Statistics of the Republic that the average net salary for December last year was 66,092 dinars,

Minister Mali claims that this amount is nominally more than 10 percent higher than the average salary amount in December 2019.

“This growth has occurred despite the coronary virus pandemic and the world’s largest and most severe economic crisis and is a confirmation of our responsible economic policy, which we pursue not only by investing in the construction of roads and infrastructure,” he says. for Mali for Tanjug.

He adds that this is a confirmation of the justification for the decisions made in previous years.

He also affirms that from year to year salaries in the public sector are growing, as well as the minimum wage, which, the Minister recalls, in 2012 was around 15,000 dinars, and today it has already exceeded 32,000 dinars, making it double . so tall.

“For three years, we have been reducing the burden on wages and thus promoting job creation, we have a historically low unemployment rate and all these are factors that have slowly but surely led to the average salary in December being 562 euros, ”says Mali.

Remember that what President Aleksandar Vui promised back in 2014 will be fulfilled, that we will reach the level of 500 euros, which, according to the minister, we exceeded in December 2019, and in just one year of those 500 we achieved 562 euros.

“The citizens of Serbia should know that we will work to increase the standard of living of the citizens from year to year, to increase wages and pensions and to improve their quality of life,” Mali told Tanjug.

He adds that this average salary is a credit to the citizens of Serbia and that they are happy with this success.
