Borivoje Bora Kandic, a Yugoslav and Serbian actor, was buried today in the New Bežanija cemetery in Belgrade.
None of the colleagues attended the funeral. About thirty people gathered to send the actor to eternal rest, which was also noticed by Kurir’s television crew.
Let us remind you that Bora passed away on December 7, and in people’s memory he will remain recognizable for his most important role as the young Vuk Karadzic. Although he will remain known as an actor, he has not been in that business for almost two decades and has been looking for a way to earn a permanent income for a long time.
In an interview with Kurir, his friend Rade recalled that Bora was able to kneel in a tavern like on the boards in a theater and perform for 20 minutes for everyone to see. Bor was not ashamed to do any work, although acting made him famous. He left behind his brother Rade, who lives with his family in Australia.
