As announced by the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, there are reasons to suspect that the suspect is DJN, of suspect D. Č. He received a monthly fee, the benefits promised in advance to assist in obtaining a contract in the public procurement procedure of the Ministry of Agriculture in the field of services, which is supported by a foreign fund for financing agriculture.
– By order of the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, after several months of the procedure prior to the investigation, today around 12 noon police officers from the Ministry of the Interior, Police Directorate, Service for the Fight against Organized Crime arrested two people : DJN, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Serbia. . 367 of the Penal Code and a natural person D.Č. for the crime of bribery under article 368 of the Penal Code – announced the prosecution.
The suspect DJN was promised a benefit payment amounting to about 1,000 euros per month, for the next two years, for the duration of the public procurement contract.
The searches continue.
The suspects were detained by the police and will be transferred to the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office with a criminal complaint.
