Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said today that during previous years he fought against tycoons who “wanted to destroy Serbia”, and that today our country is the first in terms of growth rate in Europe.
He addressed citizens via the “Budućnostrbijeav” Instagram account and said that he would continue the fight “against the mafia” regardless of all the consequences.
– In 2012, 2013, 2014, we fought the tycoons who looted the country and wanted to destroy it. We succeeded and renewed the country! Today, Serbia is the first in Europe in terms of growth rate. Wages go up, pensions go up, people live better. While we were fighting for a better standard of living and for Kosovo and Metohija, while we were fighting for a better healthcare system to be able to treat people, some people thought that the most profitable job was to be gangsters, kill people, kidnap our citizens and sow fear. I promise, we will beat them and I guarantee it! Regardless of the personal, political and other consequences – said Vučić.
