Today, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Military Veterans Day.
In his congratulatory message, he stated that he was convinced that we would no longer have to defend our homeland from enemies through wars and armed conflicts, and thanked the veterans for the sacrifices they had made.

He stated that today, nurturing traditions for more than a century, we remember a significant event, a kind of turning point for the history of our country and our army: the signing of the armistice in the First Balkan War.
“At that time, the care of veterans and the satisfaction of their needs was assumed by the Ministry of War, within the Government of the Kingdom of Serbia, for which they were of vital importance as combatants in the wars that followed and in which they participated, “Vucic said.
He said that military veterans, nurturing the tradition of the old warriors of the Army of the Kingdom of Serbia, more than a century, demonstrate in the best way that the memory of ancestors and history we have our pride, because we are where we are today , thanks to them. .
