As announced in the Crisis Staff session last Friday, the Belgrade Arena is once again becoming a covid hospital with a capacity of 510 patients.
Patients will be cared for by medical personnel from 15 different institutions, 10 doctors and 20 nurses, and will be able to perform laboratory tests, lung and heart images on site.
– The arena is planned for patients with moderate and moderate clinical picture who need oxygen therapy – said the medical coordinator of the temporary hospital, Lieutenant Colonel Predrag Bogdanović, for Tanjug, adding that the arena also has a central oxygen distribution, so it is they can connect respirators.
Bogdanović also explained that the Belgrade Arena is currently divided into rooms on the ground floor – boxes and rooms on the third floor – VIP cabins. There are 360 beds on the ground floor and the accommodation capacity of the VIP hostel is 150.
The gallery rooms are mostly double, with bathroom and have a small kitchen and TV. The ground floor has 40 boxes with nine beds and a shared bathroom.
