Presevo – The headquarters for emergency situations in Presevo declared an emergency situation in that municipality in southern Serbia on Tuesday due to the worsening of the epidemiological situation.

The Deputy Commander of the General Staff Armend Aliu says that in October of this year 45 cases of COVID19 were diagnosed in Presevo, while only in mid-November there were 74 cases, reported the Jugpres portal.
“More than 20 patients have been hospitalized, they are in poor condition, the majority in Vranje, Surdulica and Nis. It takes a lot of commitment and discipline from citizens to overcome this danger,” Aliu said.
He asked Presevo residents for “extra attention and care.”
The Head of Emergency Situations suggested that the state of emergency in the municipality of Presevo last 15 days.
The working hours of restaurants and other catering facilities, as well as betting houses and casinos are limited to 7:00 p.m., and in all municipal services they work part-time from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with no more than two employees in the offices.
The public company “Moravica” was ordered to put up barriers at all entrances to the markets, as well as posters warning of the use of a protective mask.
The Presevo health center received an order to set up tents in front of the Kovid ambulance, which will be provided by the Municipality, and all cultural and sports activities inside were canceled.
Among other things, restaurants, cafes, betting houses, casinos will not be open from 19:00 to 5:00. These measures go into effect today.
