With these funds, in the next ten days another minimum wage will be paid for employees of catering, hotel, tourism and rent-a-car agencies, it was announced after the government session.
Today, the Serbian government made the decision to pay a one-time aid to pensioners in the amount of 5,000 dinars in the next two weeks.
More than 1.7 million pensioners will receive this aid from the state, for which 8.6 billion dinars have been provided, the government’s Media Cooperation Office announced after the session.
The Government previously adopted the Decree on the Establishment of the Schedule Program and Use of Subsidies to Support the Work of the Hotel and Tourism Economy due to the Commercial Difficulties caused by the SARS-COV-2 Covid-19 Virus Epidemic
Considering that tourism is an extremely important branch of the national economy and has a significant contribution to the total gross domestic product, the Government of Serbia set aside 1,980,000,000 dinars as a measure to support the survival and development of this branch of the economy.
