Another 6,224 new infections, 55 deaths, the number of patients on ventilators is growing

In the last 24 hours, 17,093 citizens were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, of which 6,224 tested positive.

Unfortunately, 55 patients died.

There are 253 patients on ventilators in Serbian hospitals.

Recently infected by cities: Belgrade 1,503, Novi Sad 534, Kragujevac 278, Nis 223, Kraljevo 222, Zrenjanin 129, Pancevo 113, Subotica 113, Valjevo 107, Uzice 106, Sremska Mitrovica 101, Cacak 96, Smederevo 91, Kikinda 89, Vranje 70, others less than 70.

It should be remembered that the Crisis Staff session in all its composition, in which the situation with the coronavirus was analyzed, ended after just over an hour, and the medical part of the Headquarters is still in session, in order to define more precisely the proposal for new measures.

As it became known, the most talked about was the arrival of Serbian citizens from abroad before the next holidays and the question of whether to introduce a mandatory PCR test and a quarantine measure for all people from the diaspora who would come to the country.

This measure must be in accordance with the applicable legal acts. The crisis staff session began around noon today at the Palace of Serbia.
