Another 49 people died, 3,823 were recently infected

The General Hospital “Studenica” in Kraljevo cares for 97 patients suffering from kovid 19, and 10 of them are in intensive care, it was announced from that health institution.

In the last 24 hours, 15 people were admitted and discharged and three patients died.

In the same period, 216 examinations were performed at the Kovid clinic.

To date, the presence of coronavirus has been confirmed in 1,667 users and 831 employees in social protection institutions and homes for adults and the elderly in Serbia, the Ministry of Labor announced.

The total number of cured users of social protection institutions is 2,931 and the number of cured people employed in social protection institutions is 1,181.

Another 102 people were infected with the coronavirus in Šabac, 35 in Loznica, 22 in Bogatić, 7 in Vladimirci, 16 in Koceljevi, 4 in Mali Zvornik, 10 in Ljubovija and 3 in Krupanj.

At the Sabac Kovid clinic, 393 patients were examined yesterday and 199 requested the examination for the first time. 64 people were evaluated by the PC method and 100 by antigen tests.

There are 194 people with positive kovid in the Sabac hospital. In the last 24 hours, 14 people were admitted for treatment and five people were discharged.

Of the 3,823 new coronavirus cases that have been confirmed in Serbia in the last 24 hours, the highest is still in Belgrade today, 1,040.

It is followed by Novi Sad with 246, Nis with 167 and Kragujevac with 132 new infected.

115 new infections were recorded in Kraljevo, 80 in Pancevo, 76 in Krusevac and 56 in Uzice and Trstenik.

Čačak reported 55 new cases, Valjevo and Vranje 52 each, Smederevo 50, while other cities and municipalities have less than 50 new cases.

Tiodorović said the Crisis Team was satisfied and evaluated it as a positive attitude towards the celebration of Saint Nicholas, which, he says, went well, without incident or outburst.

The data clearly show that we are facing a very serious and difficult epidemic situation, said the epidemiologist, who pointed out that it is especially difficult in large kovid hospitals, clinical centers that are overloaded and work in difficult conditions.

“There may be a slight tendency for the number of patients to decrease, in some smaller hospitals and a higher number of discharges, but this seems like a step forward, two steps back,” Tiodorović noted.
