In the last 24 hours, 8,299 citizens were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, of which 2,112 tested positive.

Unfortunately, 10 people died.

There are 106 patients on ventilators in hospitals across Serbia.

Number of infected by cities: Belgrade 1,057 (50%), Novi Sad 132, Valjevo 87 Nis 50, Kraljevo 41, Cacak 28, Bor 27, Krusevac 26, Sabac 26, Prokuplje 26, Zrenjanin 24, Smederevo 24, Pozarevac 21, Loznica 21, Vranje 20, others less than 20.

According to the latest data, the presence of the kovid-19 virus has been confirmed in 178 users and 115 employees in social protection institutions and homes for the accommodation of adults and the elderly. The total number of cured users of social protection institutions is 1,130 and the number of cured persons employed in social protection institutions is 454.

In the last 24 hours, there were 2,560 examinations at Kovid clinics in Belgrade, of which up to 1,530 were the first examinations. During the night, 210 examinations were carried out at Kovid’s dispensaries, according to the Health Ministry. In the last 24 hours, 240 examinations were performed at the Infectious Diseases Clinic. In that institution, 87 patients were hospitalized, seven of whom are connected to a ventilator.

By the way, the Serbian Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, said today that the worst epidemiological situation is in Belgrade and that the last moment is for citizens to show solidarity to stop the growth of the number of infected.

– I asked the citizens not to make any contact that they did not have to do to try to stop this growth trend. We have to comply with that for 10 days, not go to risky meetings. Is it a problem that you don’t go to concerts, parties for 10 days? Asked the minister.
