Another 1,449 newly infected, 6 died, in the respirators of 52 patients

In the last 24 hours, 6,539 citizens in Serbia were tested, of whom 1,449 tested positive.

Unfortunately, six patients died.

There are 52 patients on ventilators in hospitals across Serbia.

This means that the percentage of infected people in relation to the number of analyzed is the highest so far and amounts to 22.16 percent.

Number of infected by cities: Belgrade 684, Novi Sad 111, Kragujevac 100, Kraljevo 45, Valjevo 38, Nis 28, Bor 23, Zrenjanin 21.

So far, 826 people have died. So far, a total of 1,345,170 people have been tested and 48,403 are positive.

Immunologist Srdja Jankovic said today that he will not prejudge how far we are from rigorous measures, until the Crisis General Staff decides, emphasizing that it is important to respect the measures that already exist. The immunologist said that a parameter will not decide the measures, and that the number of newly infected is important, but that there are no criteria.

“We are evaluating the risk of the situation getting worse and the possibility of keeping it under control with the existing measures, if that is not possible then the measures are being tightened. the number of people gathered in one place will be reduced from the current 30, ”Janković said.

Likewise, Deputy Mayor Goran Vesić said today that there will be no curfew in Belgrade, but that the existing protection measures must be strictly observed.
