In Kosovo and Metohija, another 13 died of kovid, 637 newly infected people

In Kosovo and Metohija, in areas under the supervision of the Kosovo government health system, in the last 24 hours, 13 people died from kovid 19.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 768 people have died and, according to doctors, other accompanying diseases.

The Pristina Institute of Public Health registered 637 new cases of coronavirus infection based on tests of 1,712 samples.

A total of 24,792 people have been infected in Kosovo and Metohija since the outbreak. 16,226 cases were cured and 7,798 cases were active.

There are 56 active cases in the Severnobac district, mainly in Subotica

The epidemiological situation in the Severnobac district has become unfavorable, with a trend towards further deterioration, it was announced from the Subotica hospital.

Compared to the previous week, there was a significant increase in the number of confirmed positive cases, as well as in the number of examinations at the Kovid respiratory clinic. The number of hospitalized patients is also increasing significantly compared to the previous week.

At the moment, there are 56 active cases on the territory of the North Bačka district, of which the largest number is in Subotica.

Over three days, more than 50 exams were performed at Kovid’s respiratory clinic.

There are 25 patients in hospital treatment in the Kovid part of the hospital, double the number in the previous week.

Two patients were placed in the intensive care unit, one on a ventilator and the other on non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

Among the patients, the active population aged 30 to 59 years predominates. The youngest patient is 30 years old, the oldest 76 years old.

Subotica Mayor Stevan Bakić appealed to his fellow citizens to continue to act responsibly and to respect all prescribed protective measures against the coronavirus.

Kraljevo: there are 39 patients in hospital, 7 in intensive care

In the General Hospital “Studenica”, 39 covid patients are currently hospitalized, announced the health institution.

Seven patients are housed in the intensive care unit.

During the past 24 hours, three patients were admitted for hospital treatment and no one was discharged.

In the same period, 35 examinations were performed at the Kovid clinic.

180 users and 131 employees were infected in social protection institutions

In social protection institutions and homes for adults and the elderly, the coronavirus was confirmed in 180 users and 131 employees, the Ministry of Labor announced.

To date, 1,133 users of social protection institutions and 454 employees of those institutions have been cured.

Users of social protection institutions who are estimated to be potential carriers of the virus are placed in isolation, while employees in those institutions where such danger exists do not come to work and are in home isolation, the statement read.

Another 1,318 new cases of kovida-19 have been registered in Serbia. In the last 24 hours, 11 people have died from the consequences of the coronavirus.

The highest number of newly infected is 583 or 44 percent in Belgrade.

Novi Sad follows with 139 new cases, Kragujevac with 127, 76 new cases were registered in Nis, 66 in Kraljevo, 43 in Sabac.

Other cities in Serbia have fewer than 20 new cases of coronavirus.

So far, 64,065 cases of kovida-19 have been recorded in Serbia.

In recent days there have been more cases of kovid than in the first and second waves. The virus is spreading rapidly so the authorities urge us to comply with the prescribed measures.

During the night alone, more than 200 patients with suspected coronavirus were examined at two kovid clinics, in Zemun and Palilula.

Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar said yes the worst situation in Belgrade, where there is the largest number of patients and the greatest pressure on health institutions, and stated that in the capital there are already around 300 vacancies in hospitals.

In Pčinja district, there are more and more infected people, but also patients under hospital treatment for kovida-19. The patients were also registered at the Surdulica Nursing Home.
