In the last 24 hours, 9,430 citizens in Serbia were tested for the coronavirus, of which 1,053 were confirmed cases of infection.
Unfortunately, 5 people died.
There are 38 patients on ventilators in hospitals across Serbia.
Infected by cities: Belgrade 590 (56 percent of the total number), Novi Sad 47, Valjevo 40, Kraljevo 28, Sabac 26, Kragujevac 25, Nis 23, Loznica 20, Prokuplje 18, Prijepolje 16, Pancevo 13, Krusevac 11.
So far, a total of 1,298,949 have been tested in Serbia that meet the criteria for defining a case, and a total of 40,880 people have contracted the coronavirus.
By the way, there were 2,553 examinations in the kovid dispensaries of the health centers of Belgrade in 24 hours. Of the total number of exams, about 60 percent were first exams: 1,556.
There are currently 34 kovid patients in the temporary covid hospital in La Arena, and in 24 hours three patients have already been transferred to the Infectious Diseases Clinic due to the deterioration of their general health. Now there are elderly patients in the Arena, 60, 70, 80 years old, adding that they will be in this kovid hospital for two to three weeks, when they return home for additional treatment that lasts for several months.
Nine patients in Kraljevo hospital
At the “Studenica” General Hospital in Kraljevo, nine patients are currently being treated for the corona virus, it was announced today from that health institution. As indicated, during the last 24 hours, five patients were admitted and six were discharged.
Professor Petar Kočović also announced that the third wave surge will last until November 18 and that the probability is 59 percent.
Kocovic also announced that Serbia is currently in the red-purple zone, as it was renamed from the old purple.
