Negotiations between the police and Marjan Stamenković’s murderer lasted for about half an hour after he was located in a shed of a family home on Ivo Andrića Street in Vranje.
At one point, the killer said that the policeman was on his target, but did not want to kill him.
He asked for a glass of water while saying “don’t go thirsty to the other world” and shot himself, say the people who heard the negotiations between the police and the murderer.

– Get out there and give up. You’re surrounded! No need to shoot yourself – yells a cop, only to be shot a few seconds later.
We remind you that Sara Asanović (27) was killed on Saturday night at a gas station near the bus station in the city of Vranje.
The killer ran to a cafe where the girl was sitting with a friend, fired several bullets at her, and then fled.

After that, the city was searched intensively by the police and it was reported several times that Marjan was seen in the city center.
Sara was buried today in the Roma cemetery in Vranje, in the presence of 200 depressed family, friends and neighbors.
