Political analyst Dragomir Andjelkovic assessed that Serbia’s relations with Russia were not disturbed and that the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin was not canceled because it was not officially scheduled.
Andjelkovic, as a guest on TV Nova S’s morning show “Wake up”, said that the media in Serbia interpreted the statement of a Russian diplomat from a few months ago, who said there was a possibility that Putin would come to consider dates.
“The visit cannot be canceled because it is not scheduled,” says Andjelković.
Commenting on why Belgrade was left out on the upcoming tour of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, he assessed that Lavrov was in Belgrade in June and that it was illogical for him to return.
“Russia’s attitude towards us was not stormy due to the Washington agreement, except for the personal attitude of (Maria) Zaharova. There is no interruption of relations with Russia,” Andjelkovic said.
Regarding the assessment that Putin will not come in part because of the scandals that are occurring in the Serbian Orthodox Church in relation to the head of the Church of St. Sava, who should, among other things, host the Russian president, Andjelkovic assessed that at Serbian public likes to project some of our internal problems. very important to the whole world, which is not the case.
