The owners brag about their pets, which are mostly kept in garages and rarely go out into traffic, but their satisfaction is getting to the exhibits, which is our goal, that people and children see what the cars were like, and can’t distinguish “. Toyota” from “Mercedes”.

According to Jevta Pavlović, president of AMK “Pomoravlje”, based in Paraćin, this is the third exhibition in a row, in fact a major celebration due to the preservation of tradition because, due to the pandemic, it does not have an international character. Regardless of that, guests came from all over Serbia: from Leskovac, Vranje, Nis, Krusevac, Belgrade, Cuprija, Jagodina, Vrnjacka Banja …

Verko Mihajlović from Kruševac brought the popular fish – “flag 750” with the original factory bodywork, Nikola Vucković from the Oldtimer Club “Niš” praised the organization and hospitality of the Paraćin people. Nishlije came with four veterans, while Vranje came with five …

The organizers of the third Veterans Exhibition in Paracin were AMK “Pomoravlje” and the Museum of the Fatherland of Paracin, under the auspices of the City Council, whose Vice President Milan Simic inaugurated the event, wishing it would last as long as a veteran vehicle.

Two-year-old Milan Pavlović was the youngest exhibitor today. With the support of his grandfather, he exhibited a bicycle made in 1952, actually a tricycle made in Russia.

Bojan Stević from Paraćin exhibited the three historic cars he owns, of which the oldest “Pontiac” from 1931 participates in the filming of national films. There are also his 1940 “Mercedes” and 1964 “Triumph”.
