Ana Gligić explains why she would receive the Russian vaccine

Ana Gligić, as a guest on the RTS morning show, stated that almost all vaccines showed an efficiency of more than 90 percent, which is enough to start vaccination if they have been tested for human use.

In Great Britain, the first to be vaccinated are those over 80 years of age and medical workers, and today vaccination begins in America, and in the first category are also the elderly and health workers. Dr. Gligić says she doesn’t know by what criteria they decided that.

“It would be logical for me to pass from the most threatened and those who can stop this pandemic, and those are the health workers who are most exposed and the young people who are often carriers of the virus, but without a clinical picture, so they spread the virus, “said Gligic. He added that they probably started from the oldest because they are the most sensitive.

He stated that most of the vaccinations were done for a relatively long time and that all the anomalies and errors that appeared were corrected during the walk.

“All vaccines that reach the mass application stage should not be flawed,” says Gligic.

When asked if the profession was in a hurry, the doctor said that these vaccines were prepared in a specific way, not the classic way, as well as that they went through a quick procedure.

“They were designed on paper and then they were done in the lab, and those tests were mandatory in both animals and humans. The classic tests were not done to test different age groups, to measure immunity that occurs on what day, what day it gets lost. “These vaccines, as I like to say, are manufactured and controlled rapidly, in the opinion of the manufacturers, enough to be able to get a license to be administered to humans,” Gligic said.

What are the differences between vaccines?

Regarding the differences between the vaccines, the doctor says that the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine was manufactured in a carrier, unlike the “Pfizer” vaccine, which was manufactured in a different way.

“These vaccines, ‘Modern’ and ‘Pfizer’, are made by inserting a part of the genome of this current crown in the form of a vaccine, and then they are designed to be completed on the inside in a trigger of the human immune system to start producing antibodies and it produces antibodies and its efficiency is 92 percent, “Gligic explained.

He stated that each vaccine is tested for immunogenicity, non-toxicity, and safety.

“They surely tested immunogenicity and non-toxicity, because they are fast things and can be done in any laboratory in a month and a half or two months. However, there was no time for long-term safety, but there are some experiences of SARS- and MERS who followed what was happening to people and were able to say that in the long run there are no consequences of the vaccine, “added the doctor.

When it comes to vaccines from China, Russia and Oxford, Gligić says they are manufactured in a carrier.

“In a virus that we have probably all had in our life. These are harmless adenoviruses and the type of disease they caused, it is a sneeze. These are viruses that do not give any serious problem when entering the human body, maybe a few times a cough and fix everything with an aspirin and tea, “said the doctor.

“They implanted only part of the current corona of circulation in those harmless adenoviruses, and there are more than 100 of them, and it is known which part is the one that will cause the human immune system to create antibodies,” Gligić explained.

He pointed out that all those vaccines – Chinese, Russian and Oxford – were made the same way, only they carried different adenoviruses.

“The Russians did something special, they made the first vaccination with an adenovirus and revaccination with another virus, which is a very successful measure to strengthen immunity after vaccination and prolong the effect of the immunological status of the vaccinated organism,” Gligic emphasized .

He noted that such vaccines, since they were not manufactured by an attacking agent, did not require such rigorous controls in animals and humans.

“That is why we have them after a year, although I said in the first performance that we would not get the vaccine for 18 months. I think that will be the case,” Gligić added.

“We need to make a classic vaccine”

Dr. Gligić previously said that we will never get rid of the coronavirus, but that it will appear in a new form only in smaller waves. He claims that experience in studying such viruses from nature shows that from time to time, by omitting at least one species, they cause smaller or larger epidemics, and even pandemics.

“We will not get rid of this virus. Now we have a goal with these rapid-fire vaccines to stop the pandemic and, in the meantime, administer and manufacture classic vaccines. These vaccines grant immunity, as the laboratories of the East and the West say, for up to two years. “. it is necessary, taking into account that we have many crowns in the environment in domestic and wild animals and they can be transmitted to humans at any time, to make a classic vaccine against the virus that attacks, “said Gligić.

He explained that these vaccines can be alive or dead.

“That is to say, the virus that attacks is taken, it is the current epidemic virus, it is weakened in the laboratory to such a degree that it does not cause disease, it is examined, it is applied as a vaccine and antibodies are created,” Gligic said.

He stressed that the classic vaccine takes years and will elicit long-lasting immunity, perhaps even for life.

As we have many coronaviruses, the classic vaccine will protect practically everyone, added the doctor.

When asked if he thinks the “Torlak” Institute will make such a vaccine, Gligic says they have facilities and conditions, as well as experts. “Now it is a question of our country’s strategy, what it will decide and with whom it will make a deal to make a vaccine,” the doctor added.
