Ana Brnabić: The Russian vaccine will arrive before the end of the year

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, spoke today with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Serbia, Aleksandar Bocan-Kharchenko, whom she thanked Russia for the generous help that Russia sent to Serbia for the fight against coranavirus and their willingness to cooperate in the Sputnik vaccine.

Brnabic said that the news that a certain amount of the Sputnik vaccine would reach Serbia before the end of the year was very good and thanked Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko for Russia’s willingness and solidarity to make it happen.

She assessed that the relations between the two countries are very good and developed in the political, economic, cultural and other fields, adding that the Government of Serbia will continue to work on their further strengthening on the basis of a strategic partnership, the Government announced.

The realization of joint projects will contribute to the improvement of cooperation, Brnabić said, emphasizing the importance of the early completion of the works of the Russian gas pipeline through Serbia.

Bocan-Kharchenko conveyed greetings and congratulations on the upcoming vacation of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, appreciating that relations between the two countries are at a high level and that they are characterized by good cooperation at all levels.
