An eight-month-old boy died in a horrible car accident near Zajecar

The Basic Public Ministry of Zajecar has completed the evidentiary process, from which, based on the technical expertise of transit, it is deduced that on March 28 of this year, MM (36) de Negotino and his friend from Đ.D. (25), from Stubik, Negotin, raced cars and caused a collision in which an eight-month-old baby died in a “Peugeot 106”, in the same place where the unfortunate child, two years ago, in a car accident killed a his maternal grandfather ZA (55), grandmother DA and uncle IA (22), all from the village of Grljan in Zajecar.

“On the basis of this finding, the prosecution will base the accusation,” said Slavisa Dimitrijevic, a prosecutor at the Zajecar Prosecutor’s Office, adding:

“In addition, traces of the narcotic amphetamine were found in MM’s blood, while DJ was ‘clean’. A sentence of up to eight years in prison is expected for this crime.”

Recall, the father of an eight-month-old baby was driving near the bridge at a speed of 70 kilometers per hour, when he found himself in a sandwich between a “Peugeot 307” and a “Citroen C4”, which were traveling from Negotino to Zajecar. Although it was immediately assumed that MM and Đ.D. ran, deny it.

However, they cannot deny that in that place, as was proven, despite the limit being 80 kilometers per hour, they were traveling at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, as if they were on a highway.

“I got out of the car holding my head and asked them, ‘Well, what have you guys done?’” The baby’s father said just then, adding:

“My son was immediately transferred to the Zajecar Health Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. He died in the same place where his grandmother, grandfather and uncle were killed.”
