Strahinja Stojanovic (30), who died on Sunday in New Belgrade from the explosion of a bomb placed under his BMW X5, was buried yesterday in the New Refugee Cemetery. At the same time, numerous obituaries were published in yesterday’s eight-page newspaper.
Special attention was drawn to the one signed by Petar, and behind which Stojanović’s brother is believed to be standing.
Same manuscript
– Isn’t it possible to kill a human-sized mouse like this? Mice were never lions. They don’t know how strong you are. With you always and forever, it is written in the obituary, behind which, as the experts affirm on the occasion, is recognized a manuscript of encrypted messages in which two clans at war, Kavački and Škaljarski, fought before, in whose conflict they died more than 40 people and more than 40 people.
– The shooting through the obituary began after the murder of a member of the Kavač clan, Vladimir Roganović, in Vienna in 2018, when his friends announced revenge on them. Petar’s last words to his brother are almost identical to the ones that the person who signed as Bato sent the murdered Roganović at the time. He said: “It just doesn’t work for a guy like this to be fooled by models and foxes” – recalls the interlocutor and states that the only difference is that “Strahinja’s brother marked the murderer as mice and Bato as models and foxes”.
– Experts at the time claimed that the message mentioning models and wives was in fact a threat to Jovan Vukotić and Igor Dedović, the leaders of the Skaljar clan. Dedović was assassinated in Athens at the beginning of the year, and last year an attempt was made to poison Vukotić while he was detained for extradition in Belgrade; the source recalls and adds that Stojanović is also suspected of being close to the Kavač clan.
Just when he was in custody in Belgrade, he added, Vukotic’s father, Veselin, was killed, and the obituary he gave to the Montenegrin media at the time read, among other things, “everyone knows what to do. We will save up appearances.” .
They are looking for a cyclist
As Kurir wrote, according to the statement from Colombian Sonja Suárez Gómez, who was in the car with Stojanović, on the fateful day they started watching auto races in Ušće. As soon as they left the garage, a powerful explosion erupted, and investigators believe the bomb was placed under the driver’s seat and was remotely activated.
Investigative sources revealed that it is being verified whether the bomb that set off Strahinja was activated by a cyclist who passed near the scene of the explosion at the time of the crime. He was wearing a helmet and a cap that covered his face, and the bicycle was later found lying on the Sava.

Until next time!
– My happiness, my joys, my love, my life, my boy with the most wonderful soul that ever existed, my most beautiful son, my mother I will not say the last greeting to you, because I cannot say goodbye to you. Until next time. I love you more, always and forever – wrote Strahinja’s mother.

You chose peace, not war
Colombian Sonja Suárez Gómez also published Strahinja’s obituary. – You chose peace, not war. Your soul is enlightened and mature and has done all that was needed in this world. The universe has given you a new life full of light and unconditional love – she wrote.
At Strahinja Stojanović’s funeral at the New Bežanija Cemetery, in a procession of about a hundred people, there were several plainclothes police officers, but also the Colombian Sonja Suárez Gómez, who was in the passenger seat at the time of the jeep explosion. Dressed in black pants and a black T-shirt, she walked silently in a column. – She did not cry, she was silent, but broken. He hugged Strahinja’s mother, his brother and his relatives – Kurir’s interlocutor says, adding that the coffin was covered with crowns and flowers, and that the crown with the inscription “I love you” drew attention, so it is presumed that was brought by a Colombian.
Strahinja’s final farewell was very difficult for his mother, who received condolences from family and friends at the chapel with her other son Peter. “Oh my son, don’t go, son, come back,” Strahinja’s mother shouted in the chapel.
Strahinja’s brother couldn’t hide the pain either. When his body was sunk in cancer, Peter sat on the headstone and groaned, then wiped himself off with a towel in his hand. “My brother, why, why,” he sobbed softly, kissing the photo of his brother murdered in the hands of his cousin. By the way, Strahinja’s father, who was killed in 2015, was buried in Chortanovci, but the family decided that Strahinja would not be buried there.
