Ambushes at the crisis headquarters at 3 pm, 4 possible VARIANTS and the “underground cafe” is largely making plans

What measures will be valid for New Year’s Eve, will be known today after the Crisis Staff meeting at 3 pm, but in Belgrade and other cities, daily matinees are being prepared and announced, as well as secret parties!

Various celebrations are widely publicized on social networks, both day and night, with, as the organizers point out, “respect for all security and epidemiological measures.”

A club in Novi Sad advertises a daily party starting at 10.30am and a night party starting at 9pm, and many of its colleagues in Belgrade have similar offers.

However, much will depend on the decision made at Crisis Staff, and it concerns the working hours of the catering facilities. Currently they can run until 8 p.m., which is one of the options for December 31, although there are variants in the game to run until 5 p.m. or 10 p.m., or at least realistic, to be completely closed.

– The medical side of the crisis staff is against any New Years Eve organization because that can only make the situation worse. Especially now that our hospitals are full. The curve is dropping a bit now, but it is far from good. We crisis staff must be clear and say that we are against any welcome – said Dr. Predrag je Kon.

As he admitted, the medical and political side of crisis personnel are increasingly at odds.

– We are divided in the medical and political part and everyone sees it from other perspectives. Our common goal is to have the fewest deaths possible. We only look at people’s health, but we must also look at those economic measures, because if we fail financially, that can also lead to death. In a way, you can say that the easiest part is for us. It is the most difficult for the Prime Minister because she needs to announce these measures – added Kon.

Club closed, party inside

The situation recorded on Saturday night in the center of Belgrade testifies that both citizens and catering companies relaxed a bit again. Inspectors from the Secretariat for Inspection Affairs, during the routine check, found a catering facility that was locked, and it was later established that there were up to 87 people in it.

– They were ordered to empty the bar and a misdemeanor warrant was written. A similar situation was found in two other catering establishments, in the territory of the municipalities of Stari grad and Palilula. Inspectors also issued misdemeanor orders there, said the Secretary for Inspection Affairs, whose inspectors inspected 92 catering facilities in the capital on Saturday night.

It is obvious that neither the controls, nor the measures, nor the restriction of the working hours of the cafes, nor the calls of the Crisis Staff and doctors have had much effect so far. The number of secret parties in Belgrade is growing and now it is no longer just about variants of the home, but also the catering services of the city have joined that trend.

– Such parties are attended only through recommendations, you must call a certain phone number upon arrival and say a previously agreed code, it is not allowed to park the car in front of the bar, and it is forbidden to use telephones, cameras and take pictures – he said a woman from Belgrade after visiting several of those parties.

In Kopaonik, 1,000 tickets for the open-air concert on New Year’s Eve have reportedly already been sold.

– The one who decided to sell the arrangements, that is his problem. The position of most crisis personnel is known: an organized New Year’s Eve will not be possible. It is not talked about – said Dr. Branislav Tiodorović.

Dr. Tiodorović: We are threatened by a new wave

Dr Branislav Tiodorović believes that further easing of the measures at this time is very risky.

– Everyone is aware that making the measures more flexible would lead to new peaks and a new wave on January 10 or 20, and that is not good for the economy. We are still in favor of tough measures – said Dr. Tiodorović.

The director of the Anesthesia Clinic at the Nis Clinical Center, Radmilo Janković, also warns that if New Year’s Eve were allowed, the result would be a huge increase in the number of infected on January 7, 8 and 9.

Four variants

1. Cafes, restaurants and cafes to work as they do now, on December 31, until 8 pm

2. The working hours of cafeterias, restaurants and cafeterias should only be shortened until 5 pm.

3. Cafes, restaurants and cafes to work extended until 10 pm on December 31

4. That on December 31 all catering services be closed completely

For a weekend house up to 300 euros per night

It sounds incredible, but for weeks now there has been a real craze to rent apartments and houses for New Year’s Eve. A night in a weekend house in Fruška gora, Kosmaj or Divčibare costs from 30 to 50 euros, for the New Year in popular resorts the prices are usually even higher. In these places you can find spacious houses with swimming pools and various additional facilities, so the prices of such more farms than cabins range between 100 and 300 euros per day.
