Very strange, disturbing and unusual situations were seen in the days following the death of SCG Army guards Drazen Milovanovic and Dragan Jakovljevic at the “Karash” military installation in Dedinje on October 5, 2004. The mystery of the murder of two soldiers lasts 16 years, and today it has not been clarified what happened.
One thing is for sure, and that is that the tragedy has been covered up. Only the official version of the murder has been changed several times, and we remind you that the State Commission headed by Božo Prelević concluded that the guards were killed by a third person, and this opinion was shared by the experts of the American FBI.
The addition of the forensic finding in the “Topcider case”, made in 2016, irrefutably proved that soldiers Dragan Jakovljević and Dražen Milovanović were disarmed and killed by a third person. The supplement to the findings of the Center for Forensic Investigations in Novi Sad from December 2016, which conducted 3D forensic analysis, answered questions and dilemmas about the bullet stuck in the late Milovanović’s rifle and the number 23 cartridge case that hit Jakovljević . The responses indicate that the soldiers died.
However, what was not known until today was said on Good Morning Serbia with Jovana Jeremic. The events that occurred in the days after the tragedy indicated that many had a guilty conscience. They sought salvation in alcohol.
– A few days after the death of the soldiers in Topcider, an incredible event happened. Namely, a high-ranking military officer at the time fled police pursuit and was drunk. The police followed him through rotations, and he sped into the circle of the barracks, which is near Karash. After he escaped to the military installation, the police were unable to enter military territory. More similar events occurred in 3.4 days after the death of the guards. This can only indicate one thing: that local commanders had a guilty conscience due to the suffering of the guards and were seeking salvation in alcohol, said Mladen Radulović, editor of the Kurir.rs portal.
It was also claimed that many structures unfortunately used the deaths of two soldiers to attack the Serbian army and ruin their reputation. Unfortunately, it is obvious that the politicians of the time ordered the cover-up of the investigation.
The theory was also repeated that the dead soldiers saw some of the defendants from The Hague in the building and came into conflict with them, but also that the drugs were kept in the building. That is, just three meters from the place where the guards were killed, there is an entrance to a secret tunnel, which leads into the building.
Nenad Shipka, director of the Center, says its reconstruction “shows mathematically, scientifically, professionally and legally that the soldiers were killed by a third person.”
– The position of the shell of the shell marked as trace number 23 indicates that it could not reach the place where it was found that the soldier Jakovljević was fired with a short burst. It could only reach that position if a third person fired a projectile. Additionally, powder particles found on Jakovljević’s uniform indicate that he was shot from a distance of 10 centimeters to one meter, Shipka says.
The further find also dealt with hitherto unpublished traces found around the body of the late guard Dražen Milovanović, and Shipka explains that it can be concluded that a third person organized the bullet casings found around the body. According to the official reconstruction of the military investigation, Milovanović took the rifle at his side and fired short bursts into the air, calling for help, until the rifle stopped and the casing jammed in the barrel, after which he released the rifle from his hands. The rifle is configured for a single shot. Šipka raises the question of how it is possible that Milovanović has previously fired a rifle round.
– The rifle was found with a casing in the barrel and a bullet inside the rifle. Two frames were found next to Milovanović’s body, one with 30 rounds, another with 15. According to the above, Private Milovanović fired short bursts and 13 rounds, took out a frame with 17 rounds, took out two rounds from that frame and transferred them to an empty box. in the frame of a rifle with two bullets, he fires a bullet from the frame, the cartridge case jams, returns the firing regulator to the individual and drops the rifle. And he does everything mortally wounded. That’s impossible – Shipka claims and adds that Milovanović was hit in the spine and arm and that with such injuries he was unable to shoot or change frames.
