Novi Sad police arrested GV (35) from the Apatin area on suspicion of committing the crime of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.
During the search of the department where the suspect is not reported, the police found 1.4 kg of marijuana, two digital scales and a significant amount of money, which they suspect comes from the sale of narcotics.
It is also suspected that yesterday he sold marijuana to a 36-year-old man from the vicinity of Vrbas, against whom he will be charged with criminal charges for the crime of unauthorized possession of narcotics.
GV was detained for a maximum of 48 hours and will be taken with a criminal report to the Novi Sad superior prosecutor.
An 18-year-old from Pivnice is also charged with the crime of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics, when members of the Novi Sad police found six packages of marijuana. The suspect also gave police about eight grams of marijuana and a digital scale hidden in the building where he remains without registration.
Criminal charges will be imputed to him in the competent prosecutor’s office in an ordinary procedure.
