Starting today, the new Kovid hospital in Kruševac will be ready to receive the first patients.
126 doctors, 8 pharmacists and 507 nurses, that is, technicians, were employed at the hospital that will be inaugurated today. The contest was conducted by the Nis Clinical Center, and among the registered candidates are people from all over Serbia, from Pristina to Novi Sad.

The importance of opening a new kovid hospital in Krusevac is great because it will relieve the health system, said today the director of the Clinic of Anesthesia and Intensive Care of the Clinical Center in Nis Radmilo Jankovic, adding that the new hospital in Krusevac is very modern and it has a capacity of 500 beds.
Visiting Pink, Janković stated that the teams from the clinic he runs will also work there, noting that ten anesthesiologists and many anesthetists and intensive care nurses are already in Kruševac and that they are ready to receive the first patients after the opening. of the hospital.
He affirmed that they are already “inveterate fighters” who treated the most seriously ill patients with the corona virus and that they know how to handle, according to him, the most modern equipment that will be in Krusevac, which is similar to the one that already exists in the Nis Clinical Center.
– In addition to them, there will be internists, mainly pulmonologists, infectologists, so the Nis Clinical Center will surely coordinate the work and train about 120 doctors and about 500 nurses who have been hired to work in the coming weeks, and probably months. new hospital in Krusevac – said Jankovic.
He explained that patients who will previously undergo triage will come to intensive care at the new Kruševac hospital.
“Patients will not come from home, but from the entire southern hospital system,” Janković added.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will also attend the inauguration of the hospital today at 11 am.
We remind you that the Kovid hospital in Batajnica was previously opened with intensive and semi-intensive care units. In that hospital, patients with severe or moderate clinical symptoms will be treated, but also those with milder symptoms, if there is no place to settle in another place.
