I was visiting my brother in the hospital to see him. However, I did not manage to enter, because Aleksandar is still in a difficult condition. Still, I think he will recover. It is very difficult for me, I lost my father and I take care of my brother.
This was told to “Novosti” Nikola Žugić (19), son of Miloš Žugić (39), who died, and brother of Aleksandar Žugić (17), who was seriously injured in a traffic accident near the toll road of the bus 48 in the Belgrade neighborhood of Mirijevo tri, on Tuesday, one hour after midnight. It is, by the way. He graduated from medical high school and works at the Red Cross in Rakovec, while Aleksandar is a student at the School of Commerce and is a fervent fan of the Red Star. His sister Jasna goes to elementary school.
– My father died, my brother is fighting for his life, my mother and my grandmother are ill, my sister is still young. We are all inconsolable about what happened to us. Everything fell on me and I don’t know how I’m going to deal with it. It is a matter of fate or whatever … But I know I have to move on and thanks to the family and friends who have found my family in these sad days, I hope they overcome all obstacles and do everything they can and know better. and I can.
The “Novosti” Emergency Center confirms that Aleksandar’s condition remains critical. They claim that he is in intensive care and that doctors are doing everything possible to avoid complications.
And the seventeen-year-old’s family explains:
– We hope for the best, we trust the doctors and Alexander’s youth. He suffered a broken rib in the accident and has bruises to his head and an injury to his spleen. However, there was some lung problem. Still, we wait for better news.
Nikola, his mother Jelena, relatives, neighbors and many friends, who have been living in the Žugić family home since they found out about the accident, to support each other. They thank everyone who responded to their appeal and helped find blood for the seriously injured Alexander.
– I did not expect everything to be so fast, but it turned out that there are still good and noble people. My brother needed a zero group and I asked for help. More than 100 people, whom I know, but also whom I do not know, donated blood. Thank you all – says Nikola.
He adds that he does not know what happened on the fateful night. But, he emphasizes that he heard that Aleksandar was in town with the company that night and that he invited his father to come for him, which he did.
The first unofficial information on the possible cause of the accident said that it could have been due to the unadjusted speed of the BMW car driven by Milos, bad road, lighting, but also presumably because of the suspicion that he was driving under the influence of alcohol. Family and friends deny it.
– We all know Miloš as a good man, an exceptional master painter and very responsible when it comes to traffic. The possibility that he drove while intoxicated is absolutely out of the question, especially since Miloš has never tasted a drop of alcohol in his life. Milos went there at least a thousand times. Unfortunately, although he knew the fatal curve well, it took his life. Maybe he really drove faster, and maybe it’s all a matter of timing and fate.
Good relations
Nikola says his parents divorced when he, Aleksandar, and his thirteen-year-old sister Jasna were little.
– Regardless of the divorce, my father and mother Jelena, who is completely devastated by everything that has happened to us now, have maintained very good relations. They both cared for us equally while growing up and we didn’t feel like our parents were no longer together. We live a little with Grandma Lilja and Dad in the apartment, and a little with my mother in the Miljakovacki Stadium.
