Defense Minister of the bogus state of Kosovo, Anton Cuni, stated that he did not agree with the assessments that Turkey is closer to Belgrade than to Pristina, even though it intends to arm Serbia with highly advanced military technology. .
– There are some companies in Turkey that have state subsidies and are managed by Turkish government policy. Those private companies have the right to provide services to other countries, such as Serbia in this case, Cuni said as a guest on Kosovo television.
According to unconfirmed information, Serbia is negotiating with Turkey the purchase of the “Barjaktar” drone. This drone is considered the pride of Turkish aviation because it is 100% a product of the national industry.
It is produced in two versions: as a combat aircraft and as a reconnaissance aircraft. With its acquisition, Serbia would become the first country in the region with such aircraft.
Juni pointed out that the so-called Kosovo could also possess such weapons if it had a sufficiently developed economy.
– The companies that sell weapons to Serbia have expressed their willingness to make them available to us as well. But it is not about looking at our enemies or friendly countries, but at the financial possibilities – added Ćuni.
