Alarming daily data: 41 people died, another 7,579 were infected with coronavirus

A member of the Crisis Staff, epidemiologist Predrag Kon, stated that the situation regarding the coronavirus is critical, “even in some places catastrophic” due to the accommodation of patients, and believes that “the measures were certainly delayed.”

Kon said that since November 6, the medical part of the Crisis Staff has proposed more restrictive measures, but that on the other hand there is a serious argument, regarding the economic aspect of the measures.

“Catastrophic means you have practically nowhere to put people in this situation … It is also catastrophic that the number of deaths and registered patients is constantly increasing,” Kon told H1.

He stated that Belgrade “stands out a bit” and that it is too early to talk about safe leveling, but that “there has been some leveling.”

When asked if the measures were delayed, he said he stated that “it was certainly late.”

“It is clear that the situation was not understood sufficiently. The history of the control of the measures adopted began in July. The first thing was that it would be implemented, so it was said that it was inapplicable, so the law had to be changed”, Kon said. .

Despite the intensification of inspection controls, the epidemic situation in Kragujevac is deteriorating.

There are 260 patients in the Clinical Center, 50 in intensive care. Today began the installation of the system with 200 oxygen points.

In two kovid ambulances in Kragujevac, 800 people are examined daily. There is a lot of waiting, because there are many people. The temporary hospital of the Sumadija Fair is slowly filling up, today 31 patients from Belgrade and Kragujevac.

In that city, there were no changes in the city’s transportation schedule. There are fewer people indoors, in shops, restaurants, and markets. Kragujevac theaters have canceled previously scheduled performances.

In social protection institutions and homes for adults and the elderly the presence of coronavirus has been confirmed with 782 users and 470 employees.

In Kosovo and Metohija, in areas under the supervision of the Kosovo government health system, 11 people died from kovid 19 in the last 24 hours.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 948 people have died and, according to doctors, other accompanying diseases.

The Pristina Institute of Public Health recorded 704 new cases of coronavirus infection based on tests of 1,651 samples.

There are 13,168 active cases.

Of the 7,579 new cases of infection confirmed in the last 24 hours, the majority are from Belgrade: 2,142.

It is followed by Novi Sad with 523 cases, Kragujevac 280, Nis 276, Pancevo 227, Kraljevo 151, Cacak 119, Backa Planka 113, Zrenjanin and Pozarevac 112 each, Smederevo 108, Valjevo 94, Subotica 85, Paracin 84, Sabac and Krusevac 77 each, Kladovo 70, while other cities register fewer than 70 new cases.
