After the great action of the Serbian police against the terrorists, President Vučić announced: Serbia has a new and very powerful weapon!

In the exercise, more than 250 members of the Home Office will demonstrate their skills and abilities to defeat terrorists and free hostages.

Members of the Special Antiterrorist Unit, the Gendarmerie, the Helicopter Unit, the Intervention Unit 92 and the Police Administration of the City of Belgrade will participate.

The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, will attend the exercise and then address the public.

President Vučić’s speech

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić addressed the public after the exercise.

– Congratulations to all the people who participated in this exercise. The members of the Ministry of the Interior are guarantors of the safety of the citizens of Serbia. We expect results from them in the coming days and weeks. Not only in Belgrade, but all of Serbia must be safe, secure and completely defeat crime and the mafia. Serbia must be absolutely safe and organized crime will win, Vučić said.

The president took particular notice of the X 145 helicopters, which, he says, demonstrated that they can operate in space that is not prepared in advance to land, at night.

– As low as they flew, I was afraid that they might land next to the flagpole, and they showed how they can follow the cars – said Vučić adding that all the MUP members showed good preparation and training.

– Tonight’s “Hoop 2020” showed the resolution of the crisis situation in night conditions and the willingness of the members of the Ministry of the Interior to provide an efficient response in each situation in the night regime and difficult conditions – concluded Vučić.

The aim of the exercise was to show in the training that through an emergency intervention without delay, with the use of high-level ballistic protection equipment and modern technical devices, the members of the Ministry of the Interior defeat the terrorists and protect the citizens.

Patriarch Irinej

Vučić said that the patriarch’s condition is very difficult.

– The patriarch was intubated. The doctors are fighting for him and I just spoke to Goran Stevanović. They rotate it from left to right to perform that drain. The patriarch is a great man who owes this feat to his people – said the president and refused to comment on the speculations about the new patriarch, calling them a shameful campaign by certain media while the patriarch is alive.

When asked about a possible tightening of measures in the fight against coronavirus, Vučić said:

– We will do what the crisis personnel say we should. For us, the health and lives of our citizens, young, old and middle-aged, are much more important than any political point.

First he said that he could not talk about it, because “everyone has their own opinion.”

– Everyone who has someone on the devices knows what it is like. Those others may say that someone from the government is harassing them, but we are protecting people’s health, and not just the rights of citizens, Vučić said.

He also said that the equipping of the Batajnica hospital begins tonight.

– There is no longer any way to thank our health workers – said Vučić and sent a request to citizens to respect the measures.

New weapon

The president of Serbia announced that the new weapons of the Serbian army will be presented in Nis on Saturday.

– You see, if all goes well, we will present our new weapons on Saturday – said Vučić.

The first demonstration exercise

The terrorist group reaches the place of mass concentration in vehicles and on the ground and begins the mass slaughter of civilians. Police patrols, Intervention Unit and Helicopter Units arrive at the scene and initiate the action to neutralize the threat.

Another demo exercise

Members of the SAJ and the Intervention Unit enter the facility and resolve the hostage crisis, arresting and neutralizing the terrorists.

The third demonstration exercise

The action of freeing hostages and arresting terrorists in a moving vehicle. SAJ members use tactical combat vehicles and shock bombs as a surprise factor. Members of the SAJ Anti-Terrorist Unit group use a drone and robot to examine more terrain and vehicles after the release of hostages and neutralization of terrorists.
