After the fight in Kopaonik, the Raska police arrested the suspect!

KRALJEVO – Members of the Ministry of the Interior in Raska arrested a citizen of the Republic of Montenegro SK (1982) due to the existence of grounds to suspect that he committed the crime of participation in a fight. Last night, at a Kopaonik restaurant, he is suspected of being involved in a fight in which a 37-year-old man from Vranje and a 30-year-old Croatian national suffered serious bodily injury. The suspect was detained for up to 48 hours and will be taken to the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Raska, along with a criminal report.

The Police continues to work on clarifying all the facts related to this event, it was announced.

According to unofficial information, Josip Kerum (30), nephew of a well-known Croatian politician and businessman, including the former mayor of Split, Željko Kerum, also participated in the confrontation.

His company allegedly got into a fight with a group of Montenegrins. Josip and one of his friends from Serbia were transported to KC Novi Pazar with a broken head.

Josip Kerum is well known to the Croatian police. In 2016, they found an entire arsenal of weapons with him, after which he was sentenced to one year in prison in 2019. In Ciovo’s house, he later hid 11 automatic rifles and two semi-automatic, then 10 pistols and two revolvers with more than 13,000 bullets.

At the time of sentencing, he was already behind bars after the verdict for the 15 kilograms of marijuana found in the “Audi” he was driving.

Kerum started causing trouble in 2010 when he crashed the expensive “Ferrari F430 Spider”. Then, near the Šestanovac settlement, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a protective fence.
