The Higher Public Ministry of Nis issued an order to carry out an investigation against brothers NM (34) and MM (39), both from Nis, who were arrested on suspicion of having murdered businessman Drasko R on October 8 of this year around from the MIN Kopex factory in Nis. (46).
As announced from the VJT, the order to carry out the investigation was issued due to the existence of reasons to suspect that they committed the crime of aggravated homicide, as co-perpetrators.
The order to conduct an investigation against the two brothers was issued today after MM was questioned at the prosecution.
– A proposal was presented to the High Court of Nis to order the preventive detention of the suspect MM for circumstances that indicate that the crime could recur, the amount of the sentence threatened and the circumstances in which the public was disturbed as a result of his execution . Suspect NM, who was detained on the orders of the VJT, will be questioned within the legal 48-hour period, VJT spokesman Borislav Radonjić said.
As Blic wrote, two suspects, who worked with other workers and Drasko that day cleaning the shop, also reported finding the body in one of the rooms around this factory, where they quietly awaited the arrival of the police.
– They said that Draško R. let them go on the lunch break and that they found his body when they returned from break Initially, they were not suspected of a crime, but the police put them operationally in contact with the crime through tactical work, after which they were arrested, says our source.
As we learned, fingerprints and biological traces of the brothers were found on the mace and ax with which the crime was committed, but that was not enough to confirm the suspicion that they were the perpetrators because otherwise they used that tool in his work. The crime was exposed, as we found out, when the older brother confessed and recounted how his younger brother allegedly killed Draško.
As a reminder, the body of Draško R. (46) was found in one of the factory facilities, and an ax and a mace with traces of blood were found next to the body.
– Draško rented the space within this company to start his own business in cooperation with his brother who works abroad, a source close to the investigation previously said. Meanwhile, Drasko changed his last name.
It is suspected that there was an argument before the crime, but the motives are not yet officially announced.
– There was an argument in which NM’s younger brother allegedly hit Draško with an ax. However, Draško managed to remove his ax, but finished it off with a mace. The older brother told everything, but the younger brother still denies everything, so all the circumstances are still being determined, as well as the motive for the crime, says our source.
