Serbian YouTube users drew the attention of a video of two men from Great Britain who, on their way to Bulgaria, via Serbia, managed to say the worst possible things about our country, with nasty teasing and jokes.
The video was posted as the sixth day of their trip to Europe, and the comments that could be heard about our country were that Serbia is not a civilization and that they are eager to get to Bulgaria, that they heard that it was a third world country, but certainly better than “Serbia, which is a mockery of Europe.”
However, shortly after the news about their behavior resounded in Serbia, they removed the aforementioned video from their YouTube channel, but now they have also posted a new one.
Negative comments have been cut and the new video begins with an apology in Cyrillic:
“We want to start this video with an apology. It was previously posted and insulted the people of Serbia. Our comments were not intended to insult anyone, as the context of the series is followed by two idiots traveling around parts of Europe and deliberately good parts are missed. to go back to some places we visited and prove us wrong by visiting all good parts we missed. Everything was thought of in a good mood. There is no propaganda or hatred as mentioned by some Serbian newspapers. We do not hate any part of Eastern Europe – “I am married to a woman from Eastern Europe. We admit that some comments were used with a lack of prior knowledge and that they caused an insult. Therefore, we apologize and republish the video with no negative parts about Serbia, “wrote YouTuber.
