After five years from the beginning of the works, the “Gondola of Gold” of Zlatibor began to work. It is the longest panoramic gondola in the world, and at the same time one of the largest investments in the municipality of Cajetina, says the president of this municipality, Milana Stamatović.

Stamatović tells H1 that, thanks to the gondola, the number of tourists will increase and that the goal is to register one million visitors in a period of five years.

The price of a ticket to Tornik and vice versa for adults will be 1,000 dinars, while a children’s ticket will cost 550 dinars, and children up to six years of age will be entitled to a free ride accompanied by at least one adult.

Stamatović also spoke on behalf of N1 about the conflicts between the municipality and the Ministry of Construction, which lasted as long as the construction of the gondola.

It is mentioned that the investment cost 13 million euros. When asked by H1 where the money came from, Stamatović replied: “I said it was money tied together from the taxes of our honest citizens, from investors who bought construction land, paid for construction land and from the fee for fixing construction land.” . Two ministers, the Minister of Finance and Construction, will be written in black letters in the history of Zlatibor. Those who challenged us for five years were against this project … History will record it, and this will remain to be remembered. “
