The youtuber from Denmark, Gustav (27), who has visited more than 150 countries in almost eight years, spent the last weeks in the Balkans, where he first asked the citizens of Serbia, and then Croatia, a question: What country do you hate more? Knowing the circumstances prevailing in our region, he was quite surprised by the responses he received from the citizens of Belgrade and Zagreb.
While he was in Belgrade he heard that we don’t like the United States and Albania very much, in Zagreb the list of countries was a bit longer. I mean, judging by the responses you received, Croats don’t really like French, Italians, English, and Russians.
And the Serbs?
When asked what they think of Serbia, their answers come mainly from the fact that they have nothing against the people and the country itself, but against politicians, while some also claimed that they were in our country and that they liked it very much.
“Because 10 or 20 people from twenty years ago wanted something, today we must not be slaves to that policy. We must look to the future and move on. You can enjoy here, you can enjoy Serbia. We are all human.” said a young man from Zagreb, who agreed with Gustav, who stated that Serbia and Croatia are sister countries.
What is especially focused on all who saw the images from Belgrade and Zagreb is the fact that both the Serbs and the Croats, through their responses, emphasized that there is no bad and evil state, but only people, in everything. the world, in all nations.
