The epidemiological situation in Kraljevo remains unfavorable, but it was somewhat better over the weekend. According to the head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, a large number of those infected are under the age of 50 and do a little better with kovid 19.
Official figures announced by Kraljevo crisis staff say that in November, 2,811 people from Kraljevo were confirmed to have a coronavirus infection and 33 patients died, RTS reports.
Epidemiologist and crisis staff coordinator in Kraljevo, prof. Radovan Čekanac says the biggest hot spots are currently in Kraljevo in families, as well as that some celebrations were risky.
– We had Arandjelovdan where after the celebration both hosts showed symptoms, and when we tested all the contacts that reported the celebration after four days, they all tested positive – says Čekanac.
The virus has also entered the Gerontology Center
The virus also entered the Mataruška Banja Gerontology Center. The latest data says that 15 users and four employees were infected. Cekanac says the situation is under control for now, but that the center will be under epidemiological surveillance.
He states that the situation in Kraljevo hospital changes from hour to hour, that there are currently 68 hospitalized, eight in intensive care.
At Kovid Hospital in Kraljevo, they say there are vacancies, but it is worrying that it is becoming increasingly difficult to provide enough medical staff to care for patients. Currently, more than 130 medical workers are infected or isolated due to contact with the patient.
