Accident near the Pupin bridge with a tragic result: a man’s ENGINE torn in two!

A young man, Ivan S. (25) from Sefkerin, died today near the Pupin bridge, on his way from Zemun to Borča. The accident happened shortly before 3 pm

According to the eyewitness story, the young man was driving a “Kawasaki” motorcycle from the direction of Zemun towards Borča, and probably due to the unadjusted speed, he landed off the road and hit a traffic light. He died on the spot.

– He crossed a small hill behind the Pupin Bridge, began to veer sharply behind the wheel, and crashed into a flagpole. – Said one of the eyewitnesses.

As could be seen at the scene of the accident, the engine that the young man was driving broke in half due to the force of the impact, and horrific scenes of blood were left on the road after the tragedy.

The ambulance and the police arrived very quickly, but the unfortunate young man was not saved.

According to the story of his friends, the young man always drove at the permitted speed, respected all regulations and wore a helmet.
