A woman from Nis was killed in a serious traffic accident that occurred tonight around 8:40 pm on Mediana Boulevard in Nis, while another man was seriously injured.
The accident occurred when an “Audi” with Belgrade license plates, driven by a 19-year-old driver, struck two pedestrians as it turned into the Nis water supply system.
The wounded man was taken to the Emergency Center.
According to the tracks at the scene, the “Audi” crossed to the sidewalk where it cut off two pedestrians.
Unofficially, a 48-year-old man who was transferred to the Emergency Center due to serious injuries also died.
Eyewitnesses claim that the scene was horrible and that pedestrians flew over the road fence due to the force of the impact.
A police investigation is underway.
