The body of an unknown man was left a few days ago in front of the building in Kotež by two men with whom the deceased was in the apartment that night.
According to unofficial information from “Blic”, two people were questioned about this case, while the body of the deceased was sent for an autopsy in order to determine the exact cause of death. It is presumed that he died as a result of drug use, and that the night before his death he was with two people who took him out in front of the building, in the apartment of one of them.
The body of the deceased was sent for an autopsy in order to determine the exact cause of death, and if it is determined that he died violently, those responsible will be criminally responsible. For now, however, there is no indication that an unknown man has been killed. However, even though they tried to get rid of the body, the youngsters won’t be responsible for that ?!
Surveillance cameras recorded the entire event, and with the help of the recording, what happened was revealed and later one of the perpetrators confessed everything to the police.
There is no penalty for not treating the corpse.
As the Belgrade lawyer explained to “Blic”, there is no article in our Penal Code according to which people who tried to dispose of the body (where the death did not occur in a violent way) can be legally responsible.
– According to our legislation, there is no special article for not treating a corpse, so these people will only be questioned. They can only respond when it is determined that they are responsible for the death that occurred, explained a Belgrade lawyer to “Blic”.
However, it adds that the young people who took the body to the street could be held responsible under article 247 of the Penal Code.
– Whoever induces another to consume a narcotic or gives him a narcotic so that he or another person can use it or makes a room available for the use of a narcotic or allows another to use a narcotic, shall be punished with imprisonment of six months to five years – established by law.
Likewise, if a person dies (and consumes drugs) due to the commission of this act, the author will be punished with a custodial sentence of 3 to 15 years.
However, this is not the first time that people have tried to dispose of the body of the deceased, although they did not harm him, and the death occurred naturally, or by drug overdose.
They hid the girl’s body on the sofa and took her out of the apartment
The body of Milica Stanojevic, 28, was found last October in the trunk of the car of Nikola K., 30, a young man in whose apartment the girl had died a few days before, most likely from a drug overdose .
That is, Nikola K. hid for days to keep the body of the deceased girl in the apartment, with the help of his three friends, Miloš G., Dušan D. and Ivan V. They tried together with him and helped him to get rid of the body of an unhappy girl.
The epilogue to this story is that Milica was in the apartment with Nikola K. and they were using narcotics together. However, the girl overdosed and passed away, and her friend did not call the ambulance or the police after that, but instead kept her body in the apartment she rented in this building for days. A few days later, Nikola called his friends so that everyone could start lowering the girl’s body, placed in the bed drawer, from the sixth floor. In this strange attempt to hide the crime, they left footprints, bloodstains near the elevator with which they tried to transport the bed. They reached the second floor, where they presumably got tired, and tried to carry the girl’s body without a bed. Neighbors noticed them and called the police, and they were arrested before they left in the vehicle in the trunk of Milica Stanković’s body.
He buried his dead mother in the garage
Slobodan Perišić (53) from Belgrade buried his mother Stevana (83), who died of natural causes 13 days earlier, in her garage on Domentijanova Street in Dedinje, to increase her pension, which she later admitted.
Slobodan’s ex-wife reported the unusual funeral to the police, and she went to the police station and said she saw Slobodan digging a hole in the garage.
– The patrol arrived at Slobodan R.’s house. He opened it, and when asked where his mother was, he replied that she had died. Then the police asked him where she was buried, and he only said briefly “like this in the garage”, which, to put it mildly, shocked the members of the Interior Ministry – said the interlocutor of “Blic” earlier.
Belgrade’s first basic prosecutor’s office rejected criminal charges against Perisic, arrested last year, earlier this year. He was accused of not providing assistance and rendering a person defenseless. After the investigation, the prosecution established that there are no indications of any criminal act for which he is prosecuted ex officio. For this reason, a foul procedure was initiated against Perišić.
