A young man and a girl landed in a lake by car.

A 21-year-old boy got light and a girl a year younger serious bodily injury when they landed on Lake Oraovicko near Presevo.

According to the Vranje Police Department, on Monday around 4 pm a terrible accident occurred on the local Oraovica – Bukovac road.

The driver of the “Skoda Octavia” (21) from the vicinity of Presevo, for reasons unknown at the time, crossed to the left side of the road, after which the vehicle landed off the road and fell into Lake Oraovic. At that time, a 20-year-old girl, also from the Presevo area, was in the passenger seat.

The young man and the girl managed to get out of the car and swim out of the lake, from where they were transported to the Vranje Health Center.

It turns out that the driver passed with minor injuries, while the girl suffered serious bodily injuries. On the basis of the authorization of the Vranje Prosecutor General’s Office, the traffic police officers carried out the investigation on the spot and the competent prosecutor is expected to testify about the accident.
