OS (23) was seriously injured in a massive fight that broke out last night around an hour after midnight on Laza Telečkog street.
According to Dr. Zoran Krulj of the Ambulance, his team arrived at the scene at the call of the police at one-thirty, when the participants in the incident were at the corner of Laza Telečki and Mita Ružić, according to 021.rs. The injured young man was treated on the spot and transported to the Emergency Center for further diagnosis. The Vojvodina Clinical Center informed 021.rs that during the night, OS (23) was admitted to that health institution with serious bodily injuries in the form of a dislocation of the elbow of the left arm. “After urgent, timely and complete diagnosis, medical assistance and care, the patient was discharged for treatment at home,” states the KCV.
The MUP office claims that Novi Sad police went to the scene after a report that a fight had broken out and found a 23-year-old man with a forearm injury and three other people. Members of the police received information at the scene that after a brief verbal discussion about the bill at the catering facility, the waiter at that restaurant pushed the victim. The young man was injured and taken to the Vojvodina Clinical Center, where, according to the Ministry of the Interior, it was found that he had slight bodily injuries, which is completely contrary to what was reported for 021 in the KCV. The police informed the Novi Sad Prosecutor General’s Office about this fact, and they are now working on gathering information and questioning witnesses, while the prosecution will decide whether there are grounds for filing charges for misdemeanors or criminal offenses and by what act. .
