The list of miraculous cures in the Tumane monastery is getting longer and longer and, at the same time, the number of believers who come every day asking for help from San Zósimo and Santiago grows.
Abbot Dimitrije recently announced that a woman from Negotino was healed at the Tumane monastery last June.
– A woman from Negotino kissed the saint’s hands, asking him to help her because she was supposed to undergo cancer surgery in two days. He called from the hospital. The operation was canceled because the tumor simply no longer existed, Abbot Dimitrija Plećević testified.
The parish priest of Golubac, Miroslav Milošević, recently felt the healing on his skin.
– For the glory of God, this wonderful miracle was created by the Lord through the prayers of Saint Zosimus in the altar boy. They removed my arm so I couldn’t move it within five inches of my body. Doctors predicted that I would recover for several months. I celebrated the liturgy and approached the saint with faith. I put my hand on the relics of Saint Zosimus. When I got home, which is 10 kilometers from Tuman, my hand was healthy. This is the truth of God – Milosevic testified and thanked the Tuman Saints.
At the end of October, Zeljko Lazarevic from Smederevo announced that his son had been miraculously cured of leukemia after praying in the monastery.
– My son Boris contracted leukemia last April and was in Tirsova for a month. I heard about Tuman and decided to come. My son could not come with me because he lost 16 kilograms. I came without him and I was in prayer. As soon as we got back from Tuman we baptized Boris. He barely stood up during the baptism, but he was baptized. After the third day of baptism, we officially received a document from a doctor in Tirsova saying that he had gone into remission and that he had in fact overcome the leukemia. It all happened in just four days, Lazarevic explains.
One of the regular visitors to the monastery, Veljko Markovic, says he attended the prayer for the healing of little Vojin by chance.
– I found Abbot Dimitri on a bench with two young people crying, I did not want to approach, I see that it is a great pain, but the abbot called me. With a trembling voice I tried to comfort them, the father fights like a man, he does not cry, but he burns inside, the mother sheds tears, he has no strength … His son is in high school for meningitis, he is not well, and his father Željko Until now, he promised himself that he would come to Tumane with his children, but he did not succeed – says Markovic and emphasizes that two years ago he was in the same situation because his son was seriously ill.
According to him, Abbot Dimitrije immediately requested that everyone present, including the monks and hieroglyphs, gather near the saint’s relics and then lead a prayer.
– The prayer for little Vojin lasted about twenty minutes. I will remember the abbot’s sermon for the rest of my life. reI come home after two hours of driving, my phone rings, Zeljko calls me, who I forgot to give my phone number to.
