The first tram produced at the “Siemens Mobility” factory in Kragujevac, 37 meters long, will soon carry passengers from the German city of Bremen. The other 46 trams ordered will also be produced in Kragujevac.
In the last two years, the factory has undergone a process of transformation from component manufacturers to the production of complete trams.
The assembly of the “Avenio” tram in the “Siemens” parish began in the spring of 2020, and in a few months the first went out of production. The production of the other 46 trams ordered continues.

The main activity of this company is the production of railway vehicles and components, as well as engineering, and thanks to the experience of fifty engineers as of now, complete trams.

The tram passed all inspection checks and was loaded onto a 57 meter long truck, ready to head towards the German border.
Siemens has contracted projects with four other cities in Germany for some 230 high-floor Avenio trams, which will also go out of production in record time.
