SABAC – At the suggestion of the Headquarters of Emergency Situations, the commander of the headquarters and mayor of Sabac, Aleksandar Pajic, today made the decision to declare an emergency situation, due to the exponential growth of the number of infected in that city in the last two weeks.
As published on the city’s website, an emergency situation was created to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The state of emergency enters into force today and implies the extension of the mandatory measures to which citizens must adhere.
These measures limit the working hours of restaurants and nightclubs, from 6 am to 9 pm, and garden work is limited to 11 pm. It is forbidden to gather more than five people indoors and outdoors, as well as to organize ceremonies and entertainment events.
Preschool institutions are required to strengthen prevention measures, such as primary, secondary and higher education institutions. The use of swimming pools, spas and wellness centers for citizens is prohibited.
Hairdressers, estheticians, beauty salons, gyms and gyms should have improved protection measures, use of protective masks and gloves.
Frequent disinfection of all public buildings, increased washing of streets and public areas with the use of disinfectants is mandatory.
All official sporting events continue to be held without the presence of the public with enhanced protective measures.
In the area of the Machvan district, more than 800 people became actively ill, almost half of whom are on the territory of the city of Sabac.
